Kepler-12, also known as KIC 11804465 in the Kepler Input Catalog, is an early G-type star F Qatar-2 b is a gas giant exoplanet orbiting a K-type star. Its mass is 2.494 Jupiter, it takes 1.3 days to complete an orbit of its star and it is 0.02153 AU from its star. Its discovery was announced in 2011.
