Kepler-15b

Kepler-15b is an exoplanet orbiting the star Kepler-15. It was discovered in 2011 by the Kepler satellite using the astronomical transit method and later confirmed by the Hobby-Eberly telescope.

It is a gaseous planet of somewhat smaller proportions than the planet Jupiter. The planet also has a high density, which may be an indication that it has heavy elements.
